Ava DuVernay's feature documentary Venus Vs. opened ESPN's new season of '9 for IX' films on the 2nd July 2013 and examines how tennis star Venus Williams fought for financial parity for WTA players at the Grand Slams, most notably the French Open and Wimbledon. I was the UK dp on the project.
